Artisan Baker required for an independent, family-run Food Hall situated on the outskirts of Sutton Coldfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a baker who is looking to develop their skills and progress to the next level. Our site comprises a Garden Centre and Gift Shop, Bakery, Deli, Butchery, and Restaurant.
Schedule
This is a full-time and permanent role averaging 45 hours per week, including weekend working and early starts. There will be a 6-month probationary period.
* 10-hour shift
* 8-hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
Key Responsibilities
* Producing a range of bread, pastry, and cake products.
* Operate industrial equipment including mixer, prover, laminator, and large 5-deck oven.
* Understand the importance of stock control and strive to minimize all areas of stock loss.
* Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen to EHO standards.
Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high level of the following skills:
* Great personality and always have a smile on your face.
* Self-motivated and have lots of energy.
* Ability to work as part of a team in a positive manner.
* One year in a baking role.
