We are looking for an experienced clinical psychologist to join Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire NHS Trust. We are keen to develop our clinical psychology service in order to provide the highest level of evidenced based care to children and young people accessing the service.
RDASH offers a multidisciplinary assessment and intervention service to children and young people up to the age of 18. Clinicians appointed to these psychology posts will offer a specialist clinical psychology input. This will allow the post holders an exciting and varied opportunity to provide, and further develop their skills across, a range of specialist psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions. Additional post-qualification training in a therapeutic approach would be highly desirable.
The posts can be appointed to flexibly dependent on experience and would be suitable for newly qualified clinicians, those looking for career development opportunities, or those already well-established at the principal psychologist grade. Regular supervision will be offered from within the psychology team and we actively support opportunities for CPD.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a clinical psychologist with excellent clinical skills, and a passion for working with children and young people with a broad range of mental health needs across the lifespan. The successful candidate will have a strong drive to work collaboratively as part of the getting advice and getting help teams to enhance formulations, care plans and specialised intervention work. They will be committed to the principles of recovery, have effective interpersonal and time management skills, as well as being a responsive and motivated team player.
We have a strong and thriving community of clinical psychologists and psychological therapists within our children's mental health teams. We are strongly invested in supporting staff development through further training opportunities and there is a strong focus on quality supervision provided by our Consultant Clinical Psychologists but also specialist supervision groups for supporting clinical practice within particular models of practice including EMDR and CAT.

Qualifications
* Post-graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology (or its equivalent prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS.
* HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
* Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
* Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
* Additional leadership training.
