We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team working on a multi-year transformation programme at the core of our business. As a key member of the programme team, you will collaborate with project team members and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle starting with determining requirements for the programme. You will develop and maintain a deep level of business and product knowledge that allows you to determine requirements priorities and alignment to business outcomes. You will have an extensive Business Analysis background with proven technical and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated track record of working across a wide range of leading enterprise software technologies across a broad spectrum of software development methodologies. You may be required to work on multiple projects at one time within the Group Technology division of RWS. About Group Technology Group Technology enables the organization to achieve its strategic direction whilst driving shareholder value. The division establishes common standards and IT governance across the business. It further develops and manages core applications enabling smooth operational running of the organization across all functions. We drive and deliver future roadmaps aligned to the overall strategic direction of the business. Group Technology support services to over 7500 end users across the globe, manage the information security operation and safeguard all our assets. Our core Group Technology functions include Technical Architecture, Network & Voice, IT Security, Service Delivery, Solutions Delivery and Asset Management. Group Technology has a global presence across all regions with over 400 staff. Key Responsibilities Gathering, identifying, documenting and validating business requirements and processes and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expectations Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose streamlined solutions. Create use cases, process diagrams and other documents to support requirements Work in close collaboration with project & technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, managed, and delivered successfully. Obtain an understanding of relevant business areas and products and services to recommend solutions Collaborate with the Group Architecture team to ensure proposed solutions are aligned with group strategy Support the creation of high level and detailed level application technical requirements, ensuring that the solution meets the requirements laid out in the business Requirements Document Build trusted relationships with management, SME’s, business sponsors and third parties at different levels within the organization. Assist with Functional and User Acceptance Testing, Governance and Sign off Provide the link between the customer, solution teams and any third parties regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle Assist in the preparation of business case, solution design, system acceptance tests and support handover Skills & Experience Experience in a Senior Business Analysis roles In-depth knowledge of requirements documentation, process flows and developing business use case scenarios Proven experience in gathering and documenting complex Business Requirements and processes Proven experience of creating and documenting high level and detailed application requirements Strong communication skills & exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions Attention to details while creating deliverables Must be organized and able to work unsupervised Proven experience of working on large projects as a BA Must understand the entire software delivery cycle and stakeholder relationship management Ideally experience in mapping processes in BPMN 2.0 Excellent verbal and written English skills At RWS, we’re here for one purpose: unlocking global understanding.
