An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Musculoskeletal (MSK) service. We are looking for an Administrator to join our dedicated and friendly team to work closely with our staff and patients in order to provide exceptional patient care. You will be joining a welcoming admin team who are pro-active in ensuring a high standard of service across Derby City.
Main duties of the job
As an MSK Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring the incoming referrals and taking appropriate action, whether that be booking patients in to start their MSK journey or referring patients on to secondary care for further treatment. You will share reception duties with colleagues to welcome patients and deal with incoming calls. You will use the clinical system daily, to register new patients and input patient data. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks throughout the day, including emails, scanning, tasks and recording any action taken using the MSK admin template.

Experience
* Experience in a busy office environment
* Previous experience of team working
* Previous NHS experience administration (minimum two years)
* Experience using SystmOne (or similar)

* Has a keen attention to detail
* Excellent communications skills
Skills
* Excellent keyboard and computer skills
* Able to work in a changing environment
* Highly organised and able to follow protocols accurately and efficiently
* Understanding acceptance and adherence to a strict codes of confidentiality
* A good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to use email/internet
Qualifications
* Qualified to GCSE standard or NVQ Equivalent
