Whatyou'll do
As anAudit Manager within our Credit Risk team,you’ll play a key part in providing independent assurance overwholesale credit risk management processes and controlsacross the Bank’s creditportfolios.
You’llbe an ambassador for internal audit, demonstrating professionalbehaviours and helping to build on the reputation and integrity ofthe function.
Your role willalsoinvolve:
* Providingquality, efficient, and effective assurance and influencingbusiness and risk managers to improvecontrols
* Leading and coaching the team as theydeliver audit engagements, making sure they're delivered to budgetand on time, while helping them to realise theirpotential
* Leveraging industry leading auditmethodology and tools
* Managing key stakeholdersthroughout audit engagements, ensuring a good understanding ofbusiness risks and an open and effective discussion on keyrisks
Theskills you'llneed
Tojoin us in this role, you’ll ideally have worked in aninternal/external audit and/or risk management environment in acorporate and investment bank. You’ll need to have a strongbackground in managing and/or auditing cholesale credit riskprocesses and controls through the credit lifecycle. Thisincludes a deep understanding of credit risk sanctioning(underwriting), portfolio management and workout(restructuring). You’ll further need analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to dynamically assess andanalyse both structured and unstructureddata.
Athorough understanding of key regulations including CRR and IFRS 9will be beneficial. A relevant quantitative degree and/orprofessional qualification (e.g. CFA, FRM) ispreferred.
You’llalso need:
* Theability to demonstrate leading a team in delivering projects in anAgile way, while keeping a firm hand on budget, schedule, andquality
* The ability to support and supervise ateam through coaching, feedback, and development, with a proactiveapproach towards identifying and promotingtalent
* Good written and verbal communicationskills.
