Your role: We are looking for a Graduate Heritage Planner to be based in London, joining our 2025 Graduate Programme. As a Stantec Graduate in the Heritage team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and your wider cohort. You will support the team on a wide range of planning-related heritage projects across the UK. This will involve contributing to written documents like heritage statements, impact assessments, and environmental statements. You'll also have the opportunity to visit project sites throughout the country. Your research and analysis skills will be utilised to assess the significance of heritage assets and their surroundings. You will contribute to developing project strategies, identifying potential risks and opportunities related to heritage. Additionally, you'll assist with preparing and submitting Listed Building Consent applications, participate in tender preparations, and liaise with stakeholders like Historic England and Conservation Officers. As you progress, you will start to build relationships with clients and help raise the profile of the Heritage team. Clients include Places for People, major housebuilders and also developers, for example, IM Land and Segro.
