Roles and Responsibilities
1. Attending customer meetings with the Project Manager.
2. Actioning assigned responsibilities agreed at regular customer meetings.
3. Attending regular meetings with internal departments.
4. Actioning assigned responsibilities agreed at regular internal meetings.
5. Supporting the management of comprehensive Microsoft Project timing plans.
6. Supporting the management of project variations/scope revisions.
7. Attending internal and customer design reviews.
8. Producing, managing, and updating comprehensive project documentation.
9. Supporting the management of sub-contract suppliers where required.
10. Attending customer sites for meetings.
11. Attending customer sites during installation, commissioning & buy off stages.
12. Ensuring that all projects are carried out in accordance with safety and environmental accreditation.
Qualifications/Attributes
1. Sound technical knowledge.
2. Possess and demonstrate a positive “Lead by Example” attitude.
3. Flexible approach to working hours/patterns.
4. Mechanical Engineering HNC qualifications.
5. Electrical Engineering qualifications are not essential but would be useful on certain projects.
6. Minimum of 2 years' experience managing material handling or conveyance projects.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Excellent literacy and report writing skills.
9. Well organised.
10. Have a keen attention to detail.
11. Have ambitions to become a Project Manager.
