Role description:
This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work within an integrated project controls team helping to deliver an annual £m programme of nuclear work. The projects combine both new build and decommissioning within a structured collaborative environment working with colleagues who are focused on innovative solutions and teamwork where the focus is on delivery of programme outputs.

Role accountabilities:
1. Developing baseline and detailed project schedules to support the delivery of complex engineering and construction programmes in compliance with company standards.
2. You will be expected to manage and report on critical path analysis and assess and report and subcontractor programmes for approval by the Project Manager.
3. You will utilise your expert knowledge of earned value management to support the broader project controls team to deliver accurate cost forecasts for the client. You can also expect to assist Project Managers in producing monthly performance reports.
4. Alongside working on live contracts you will also be working on projects during the pre-contract phase to provide an expert assessment of contactors tender programmes.
Qualifications & Experience:
5. Experienced on P6.
6. Schedule planning, forecasting and reporting.
7. Construction background.
8. Experience in NEC 3 suite of contracts, options A, C, and E.
9. Ideally experience in NEC 4 suite of contracts.
10. Ideally you will have experience working within the Nuclear sector however individuals with experience working on public sector projects within a regulated environment (i.e. water, rail, aviation etc.) are encouraged to apply
11. Working as part of an integrated delivery team.
