Key Responsibilities:
Independent Work: As an Assembly Operative, you will be primarily working independently on various projects for a range of clients. You will be responsible for assembling electrical connectors and components to precise specifications, ensuring high quality and accuracy in all work.
Workstation Setup and Maintenance: You will have your own fully equipped workstation, where youll perform assembly tasks, using tools and equipment to produce connectors and parts with a high degree of precision.
Reading and Working from Drawings: A key part of the role will involve reading technical drawings and specifications to assemble components. You must be able to follow instructions carefully to ensure accuracy and meet quality standards.
Manual Assembly: Tasks will involve both manual assembly and technical assembly tasks, including soldering, loom assembly, and connecting components. Although experience in these areas is preferred, full training will be provided.
Quality Control: You will be responsible for ensuring each component you produce meets the strict quality standards set by the company. This will require attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
Consistent Pace: The role requires the ability to maintain a steady and efficient working pace while ensuring the production of high-quality components. The ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks will be essential to your success.
Collaboration with Team: Although you will spend a lot of time working independently, you will also be part of a wider team, and collaboration with other operatives may be required to meet production goals.

Previous Experience (Preferred but not essential): Ideally, experience in an electronics assembly setting or similar manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but this is not essential. Experience with soldering or loom assembly is also a plus but not a requirement.
