I am working with a well-established and award-winning recruitment agency based in Sheffield, who have a number of additional offices across the UK. They are honest, values and service-driven, and invested in the development of their people. They have a great reputation that precedes them.
Within this Recruitment Consultant position, you will be joining an existing team of 12 within a niche industry. You must be confident in speaking with people at all levels, to win new business and have strong questioning and listening skills to gain a full understanding of the needs of all parties.
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out around 100 calls a week and book/carry out 6 client visits a week.
2. Proactively source new business opportunities and generate leads through cold calls, email outreach, social media, and face-to-face site visits.
3. Work towards weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs.
4. Thoroughly interview potential candidates to ensure they fit each job specification and the company’s needs.
5. Attract and place candidates into appropriate vacancies, offering advice and coaching from application to start date.
6. Ensure all activity is accurately logged on the CRM system.
7. Negotiate fees and terms with clients as well as negotiating salaries with clients and candidates at the offer stage.
8. Provide exceptional customer service and be an advocate for the business.
9. Collaborate with the wider team.
10. Take a proactive approach to learning and improving.
Requirements:
To be successfully shortlisted for this position, you will have previous recruitment experience and demonstrate the ability to achieve when working a fast-paced multifaceted desk. The right attitude and energy are paramount; you need to be passionate, a team player, resilient, and reliable with a drive to succeed.
Additionally, you will have:
1. Previous experience of efficiently managing a busy workload and remaining organised.
2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Resilience and motivation to keep going and remain positive.
4. A drive to progress and succeed.
