Main duties of the job
Your role and responsibilities
* Lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for ages 0-5
* Conduct assessments and care planning
* Evaluate outcomes and support service improvement
* Champion health promotion and reduce inequalities
* Provide health reviews and targeted support to families
* Maintain NMC registration and work to The Code
* Safeguard children through collaboration, assessments, support and advice
* Be the key contact and case holder for families.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse/ Midwife.
* Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) Health Visiting qualification.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Willingness to undertake further professional training and attend training courses as well as reading literature as required to update knowledge and skills.
* Nurse prescriber (course to be undertaken within 1 year of post commencement if no qualification).
* Management and leadership qualification (Desirable).
