Reporting to the Curriculum and Assessment Manager, the post holder will take responsibility for programme-related student administration within the School relating to Student Choice, ensuring that the service provided by the Curriculum and Assessment team is efficient and effective and considers wider School and Universities’ strategies. The Curriculum and Assessment team contribute to, and have an important role in, ensuring a high-quality teaching and learning experience for both students and staff by delivering consistent and integrated services and administrative processes to a high standard. The role holder will line manage the Curriculum and Assessment Student Choice Course Assistants, supported by the Curriculum and Assessment Manager. They will be required to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the School, both Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent and stakeholders external to the University, to ensure that provision is both consistent and meets the specific needs of the School. As Curriculum and Assessment Officer – Student Choice you can expect to be involved in: Providing operational management support to the Curriculum and Assessment Manager Providing high quality secretarial support to several boards and/or committees within the KMMS governance structure Acting as the key point of contact to resolve complex queries from students and stakeholders Line managing and monitoring the performance and workload of the Student Choice Course Assistants What will you bring to the role?
