SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours? This inclusive and nurturing primary school in Harrow is looking for a resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students regulate emotions, build confidence, and engage in learning.
About the Role:
• Support students with SEMH needs, using de-escalation and behaviour strategies.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to implement tailored learning plans.
• Build trusting relationships and promote independence and confidence in learning.
• Assist with classroom management and adapt activities for individual needs.
Who We're Looking For:
• Experience with challenging behaviours and SEMH needs.
• Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
• Team player, committed to helping children develop emotionally and academically.
• Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 3, Team Teach) desirable but not essential.
