As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you will manage and oversee all activities relating to store visual merchandising, according to Louis Vuitton guidelines, within required timeframes. Manage the VM team to ensure that at all times product and props look their best - well maintained and rotated as required.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a high-end, luxury retail environment with a proven track record of developing direct reports and building effective teams.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Manager-level experience in High-End Fashion/Luxury Goods Industry
2. Experience with RTW and Accessories
3. Experience with window installations
4. Knowledge of retail business (preferably high-end luxury goods)
5. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience level and size
6. Outstanding interpersonal, written, communication, organizational and presentation skills
7. Computer Skills (PowerPoint, MS Office)
8. Ability to deal with different levels of the organization comfortably
9. Builds appropriate rapport and effective relationships
10. Ability to bring concepts to reality
11. Store Planning background preferred
12. Experience managing budgets
Management Tasks & Accountabilities:
1. Management of Maison VM team - including issuing guidance, feedback and managing performance
2. Daily communication with the VM team, stock team, store and country management
3. Planning and organization
4. Identification and motivation of visual merchandising team
5. Reactivity and creativity: alternative and attractive VM to be implemented

VM Specific Tasks include:
1. Windows:
1. Set up
2. In charge of the window set-up (5 per year): coordination with contractors, electrician, kits delivery
3. Planning, anticipation, organization, lighting, refurbishment
4. Window booklet analysis and application
5. Anticipation of the products stock
6. Products set up
7. Lighting focusing
8. Intranet reporting
9. Pictures to be sent to country Visual Merchandising Manager
2. Product Rotations:
1. Pre planning of the rotation, creating a zoning to be shared with all concerned, after taking in business needs / priorities
2. Follow up VM booklet guidelines
3. Reactivity to business needs at any given time
4. Aware of the city / actuality / events environment
5. Coherence between all products categories
6. Windows database update
3. Instore:
1. Store cleanness and tidiness
2. All product categories knowledge
3. All product categories Visual Merchandising guidelines knowledge
4. Stock team collaboration for product availability, launches and ends of life
5. Visual training to the VM store and morning briefs
6. IWD knowledge: guidelines / reporting / best practices. Intranet system
4. Rotation:
1. Products rotation organization: team planning, training non VMs and for them to participate rotations

3. Sharing / understanding the commercial vision with the store manager
