We are looking for someone who is kind and caring and who wants to be part of a team who advocate and make evidence-based decisions for patients in a nurse led unit.
It would be an asset to have Renal experience, but this is not essential as training will be given. Within this role you will be looking after patients who have a chronic condition who attend the unit three times a week.

The main duties of this role include providing haemodialysis care to renal patients on a daily basis including fluid management, recording observations, daily weights, intravenous medication, pressure sore prevention, vascular access care and diabetes management.
After training you will be expected to connect & disconnect patients from dialysis, using their vascular access, this could be via a central venous catheter, a fistula or a graft. You will be responsible for the care you provide to the patients and accountable to the senior team.
We also work closely with the multidisciplinary team, which includes Dieticians, Access team, AKC nurses, Counsellors, Renal Care Navigator, Renal Registrars, Renal Consultants and Transplant nurses.
