As a Beauty Advisor, Services at Sephora UK, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional makeup and skincare services to our valued clients. Your extensive knowledge of beauty products, trends, and techniques, combined with your passion for customer service, will ensure an unforgettable shopping experience for every client.
Responsibilities:
* Services Skills: Demonstrate expertise in skincare and makeup application techniques, including but not limited to foundation matching, contouring, and eye makeup. Conduct product demonstrations and offer in-depth product knowledge to educate clients about features, benefits, and usage instructions.
* Customer Assistance: Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and preferences. Provide personalized beauty consultations to clients, taking into consideration individual skin type, tone, needs, and desired look.
* Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products available at Sephora to offer informed recommendations.
* Visual Merchandising: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all products and tools are sanitized and readily available. Ensure shelves are stocked with an appropriate quantity of products at all times.
* Sales and Goals: Proactively engage customers to drive sales and meet store sales targets. Recommend additional products, upsell complementary items, and promote Sephora's loyalty program.
* Brand Representation: Embody the Sephora brand values and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
* Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the store team, including other beauty advisors and managers, to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
* Operations: Assist at the cash desk when asked to, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment or beauty industry.
* In-depth knowledge of skincare and makeup products, brands, and application techniques.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
* Passion for the beauty industry, staying updated with the latest trends and product launches.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize client needs.
* Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices in relation to beauty products and tools.
* Qualifications in beauty therapy or relevant certifications are a requirement.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
