Summary
As the main administrator for the company, this is a varied and responsible role involving everything from general business administration to more specific HR and accountancy admin. It’s the perfect role for someone who loves being organised and getting administration tasks done on time to a high level of accuracy and quality whilst maintaining the confidential nature of the work.

The role:
The main purpose of this role is to provide accurate, well communicated and timely administrative support for the company to ensure we are efficient, effective and meet our internal and external service standards and legal obligations.
A normal working week will involve:
* HR administration throughout our employees’ work-life-cycle: onboarding, performance review recording, leave recording, organising training, off-boarding etc.
* Annual reviews of driving licences, H&S documents, ICO registration.
* Organising social events for our staff.
* Weekly fire alarm testing and monitoring.
* Registering jobs for product warranties.
* Organising the servicing, MOT and tax requirements of our company vehicles.
* Maintaining office supplies and stationery.
* Managing phone calls, e-mails and mail effectively.
* Collecting and recording weekly clock cards and timesheets.
* Updating and issuing weekly schedules to stores and purchasing departments.
* Raising and issuing sales invoices and ensuring scheduled customer payments are received on time and that guarantees are issued once the final scheduled payment is received.
* Processing purchase orders and delivery notes and ensuring all costs invoiced match the agreed quotes before payment and then entering costs into the relevant systems.
* Ensuring supplier invoices are accurate and maintaining good supplier relations by adhering to their payment terms.
* Accurate and timely data entry to internal and finance systems.
* General administrative duties across the business, maintaining internal schedules and ad-hoc tasks as required.
Our ideal candidate:
* Excellent organisational and time management skills that enable you to keep on top of multiple tasks with differing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
* Strong verbal (including telephone) and written communication skills.
* An aptitude for ICT skills (especially Word and Excel) and an ability to quickly pick up new technology, software and database systems.
* A keen attention to detail and drive to consistently produce accurate and high-quality work.
* Proven administrative experience, ideally including working with numbers.
* Friendly but professional, able to interact effectively with a diverse range of people whilst maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.

Salary: £28,730.00 – £33,150.00 pro rata (based on full-time equivalent of 42.5 hours a week) depending on skills and experience.
Hours: 37.5 to 42.5 hours per week spread across Monday to Friday. We are happy to be flexible when agreeing your default hours as long as the hours fall within our core operating hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm.
