Job overview
As a MDV Logistics Facilitator, you will assist the MDVS Logistical Support Manager to deliver familiarisation to front line crews and provide support on the new Terrafix MDT system (MDVS).
You will be responsible for delivering commissioned vehicles to sites, spending time at MRC's/Station providing guidance and support to crews on the new system as well as dealing with any issues. A driving licence group C1 is essential. Please note this is a 6-month secondment/Fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will coordinate the Trust’s vehicles (DCA and SRV) to ensure the project lifecycle is fulfilled, deadlines are met, and late implementation fees are avoided with the familiarisation of the new MDVS system. This includes:
* Organising small groups or individuals to complete familiarisation sign-off at MRCs/Station's/VPP’s.
* Quality checking, testing, and delivering newly installed vehicles from the installation site to the home location.
* Providing familiarisation of the new system using supplied training equipment to crews/staff as needed and encouraging sign-off via the clinical education portal.
* Being the point of contact at stations for any guidance, concerns, and advice.
* Covering some duties of the MDVS Logistics manager as needed.

You will also:
* Develop and foster relationships with key personnel in the Trust to ensure project deliverables are met.
* Take responsibility for your area of work, make decisions, and report to management as required.
* Assist in moving vehicles throughout the SECAmb area, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and vehicles are fit for movement.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Must have C1 group licence.
* Proficient in using Trust MDT’s and Airwave Systems.
Knowledge
* Basic Road Transport Legislation.
* Excellent understanding and experience using Trust MDT’s, iPads, and Airwave equipment.
* Experience using modern smartphone/tablet style navigation and user interface designs.
Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding, unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
