Job Description
The Role:
* Finance Assistant position within a fast-paced environment
* Process accounts receivable transactions, including customer invoices, credit notes, cash receipts and adjustments.
* Update financial records accurately and in a timely manner.
* Bank reconciliation
* Support with monthly financial reporting and year-end processes.
* Assist with audit preparation.
* Suggest improvements to financial processes and systems within the department.
* Liaise with other departments and provide financial information for business decisions when required.
* Ensure compliance is maintained across all financial activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
* AAT certification, or equivalent, would be an advantage
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong analytical mind.
* Excellent communication and team-working skills.
