This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join our Multi Track Motor team in the Manchester office.
The successful candidate will work in a small team dedicated to dealing with a number of the UK's largest insurer clients and will report directly to the Legal Director/Senior Associate in respect of day-to-day tasks. There is scope to work on complex large loss claims. The team currently enjoys hybrid working, being in the office 20% of the time.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience of multi track and Indemnity work; however, we would consider someone with strong Fast Track experience as full training and supervision will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acting and assisting on Multi Track Motor claims on behalf of leading Insurers.
* Assisting others with multi-track work, including complex Motor injury claims.
* Reporting to, liaising with, and meeting clients with a high level of professionalism.
* Drafting pleadings.
* Preparing instructions to counsel and experts and attending and advising in conference.
* Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ad hoc tasks as required.
Experience and Skills Required:
* Previous experience working on Fast Track Motor claims.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently by managing time in a fast-paced environment.
* A professional manner with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
* Assertive and confident in managing expectations.
