We are looking for a Working Construction Foreman to join our client’s team on a project in Harlow to work in and around the London / Essex area.
About the company
Our client is a principle chartered building contractor, priding themselves on delivering high quality projects in and around the London/Essex area. As a Working Construction Foreman, your main responsibility will be to manage and coordinate construction projects, together with carrying out general building work as and when required on site.
About the role
As a Working Construction Foreman, it is expected that you will:
1. Have solid experience in construction, outstanding leadership personality and the ability to make decisions in complex situations.
2. Plan, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goals
3. Manage and monitor member’s attendance and work
4. Adhere to relevant safety regulations
5. Manage and guide the use of machinery and equipment
6. Peacefully resolve any emerging problems and issues
7. Allocate and delegate responsibilities
8. Supervise workers
9. Ensure labour and other resources necessary
About you
To be successful for the role of Working Construction Foreman, you must have / be:
10. 5 years of experience as construction management
11. Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment
12. Good time-management skills
13. Ability to multi-task
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
15. Critical-thinker and problem-solver
16. CSCS card and SMSTS card
17. Emergency First Aid certificate.
About the rewards
For the role of Working Construction Foreman, there is a salary on offer of £180 per day (circa £46,000 to £47,000 per annum).
