We have an exciting opportunity to join our Social Inclusion Team. You will undertake ‘on the job’ training to understand the business and carry out key tasks, as well as being supported to obtain a relevant qualification. You will be given study time to work towards the level 3 Chartered Institute of Housing qualification. Do you have good organisational skills? Can you build relationships with people from different backgrounds? If so, this is the role for you. You will support the Youth Team to plan and deliver exciting school holiday clubs for secondary aged young people. You will also support the Your Local Pantry Team, spending time assisting with deliveries, helping to run the pantries, and supporting members. You will get involved in a variety of community projects. You will also work with the Housing Support Service to complete welfare calls to vulnerable customers on a rolling programme as well as carrying out customer satisfaction surveys for the Employment Team and Housing Support Service. With the ability to communicate effectively with customers and skills to deal with difficult situations in a positive manner, candidates for this role will have good literacy and communication abilities and a good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office applications.
