WHAT YOU’LL DO
Help us build the research capacity and capability of our staff through:
-Planning and delivering small and medium projects in conjunction with the NIHR BRC Senior Programme Manager and Infrastructure Leads.
-Producing and presenting robust, reliable, and valid options appraisals and recommendations for small, and medium scale projects.
-Producing regular progress reports to steering groups and at stakeholder meetings as required.
-Undertaking matrix staff management of project team members involving team leadership, motivation, task allocation and recruitment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Masters or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience.
Knowledge and practical experience of the management and successful delivery of full project lifecycle (including pre-project phases) of medium projects.
Knowledge of how to identify complex project risks and issues and develop detailed mitigation strategies.
Understanding of relevant legislation and practice.
Research experience, and understanding of healthcare research career pathways, is advantageous, but not essential.
