Woodland Group are hiring a Learning and Development Apprentice who will take ownership of all administration linked to training as well as taking full responsibility for the delivery of a number of entry-level training courses.
Please ensure you research the Learning and Development Practitioner Apprenticeship Standards prior to applying. Please note this is a level 3 apprenticeship and may take up to 24 months to complete.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must not have any prior experience or qualifications in Training and Development due to funding requirements.

The Purpose of the Role:
To provide wide-ranging training and training administration support across the group.
Overview of the Role:
Working closely with the group training team, the learning and development apprentice will take ownership of all administration linked to training as well as taking full responsibility for the delivery of a number of entry-level training courses.
You will report to the Group Training Manager, who will carry out regular progress meetings with you and provide support, guidance, and encouragement throughout your Woodland journey.
You will come into contact with most of the Woodland team across all of our sites internationally. You will be based at our Chelmsford site with a blend of home and office-based working once fully trained. Some travel to other Woodland sites may be required. The working hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm with occasional later working hours to support our US team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Administration:
* New Starter and leaver administration;
* Post Training Administration;
* Manage and monitor eLearning system;
* Apprentice support, checking in with other apprentices across the group regularly;
* Create and send any required reports to the senior team;
* Ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date;
* Managing training and apprenticeship related workplace announcements on the company intranet;
* Administration of the Woodland One to One Meeting process;
* Any other tasks set for you by the Head of people development and culture/wider HR team.
* Training Specific:
* Assist the group training team with the development of new eLearning and classroom training;
* Identifying training/learning needs;
* Sending out workbooks and feedback links to delegates post training;
* Evaluating post training feedback and suggesting changes and improvements as required;
* Sending post learning feedback to managers;
* Managing the training supplies;
* Assist the training team in training preparation, delivery and evaluation;
* Take ownership of a handful of courses which you will deliver remotely and in person.
* Additional Responsibilities/Skills:
* Confidently engage with managers and learners of all experience levels across the group;
* Ask questions and listen actively to feedback;
* Challenge the ‘norm’ and be a champion for change;
* Complete all coursework, essays, and tests within the set timeframe and to the highest standards possible;
* Use your ‘off the job time’ to develop your knowledge and learn new skills;
* Be open and honest with your manager and your skills coach;
* Aim to achieve the highest potential result at your End Point Assessment.

In order to be eligible for Apprenticeship Skills funding, applicants must:
* Have been resident in the UK for the last three years consecutively;
* Be a British citizen, or hold settlement status, or have indefinite right to remain in the UK; or
