A great opportunity has arisen with a well-established M&E Building Services Contractor who is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. The company works across a variety of industry sectors, including education, healthcare, residential, industrial, retail, and commercial, and has remained a privately owned family business for many years. With a great reputation within the building services sector, my client offers a full M&E package to its clients, including design, installation, and maintenance.
The role:
The position is predominantly site-based where you will be required to manage projects of M&E value up to £12 million. Project locations are across the Midland region. As the successful Project Manager, you will need a background in the Mechanical building services industry and significant experience in project supervision and management roles. MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills are essential.
Duties will include:
* Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain, delivery teams, and management.
* Health & Safety management with support from the QHSE manager.
* Attending internal CVR/progress meetings.
* Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
* Specification and ordering of materials.
* Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
* Management and briefing of installation personnel.
* Resolving installation and access issues.
* Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
* Programme and project planning.
