As a Chemical Plants Manager, you will be overseeing Formalin, Resin, and site quality, while ensuring top-notch Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance in the entire department. Your responsibilities include:
1. Leading departments to achieve targets.
2. Optimizing process availability through structured maintenance programs.
3. Coordinating with the Planning department for efficient utilization.
4. Managing and developing teams, guaranteeing sufficient staffing, and controlling costs.
5. Mitigating process issues, ensuring staff competence, and maintaining effective communication with regulators and stakeholders.
Hours of Work: Full time, Contract, 42.5hrs per week Monday to Friday
Chemical Plants Manager Requirements:
1. Extensive experience in chemical production and processes.
2. Operational experience of working under COMAH regulations and understanding of process safety principles.
3. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a consistently high level of performance.
4. Ability to investigate, understand and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
5. A Chemical Engineering degree is the minimum level required for this position.
6. Strong leadership abilities to challenge colleagues and issue instructions effectively.
