The MSI E&S Homeowners team focuses on producing profitable surplus lines homeowners business, specifically in the Affluent and High Net Worth segments.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Responsible for management and execution of the E&S homeowners new business and renewal portfolio
2. Reviewing risk locations against carrier guidelines to determine eligibility
3. Collaborating to develop and maintain an efficient new business and renewal framework
4. Interact with partner brokers and provide superior customer service
5. Assist brokers with comments or questions on various items as needed
6. Review and execute policy issuance and servicing requests
7. Review submissions for completeness, accuracy and make requests for additional information.
8. Ensure underwriting files have adequate documentation
9. Responsible for property inspection reviews and audits for residential properties as needed
10. Attend team meetings and perform other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
11. Five years homeowners insurance underwriting experience preferred with an insurance carrier, MGA, program administrator, or agency
12. Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency to resolve problems and meet broker, client and market expectations of service
13. Excellent oral and written communication skills
14. Experience working with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and ability to master proprietary software
15. Ability to work autonomously when not directly supervised day to day

16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues
