Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to join our dedicated team full-time, teaching a Year 1 class. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a new teacher to launch their career in a supportive and encouraging school environment, with a focus on professional growth and pupil achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Mark students’ work and provide feedback that supports their progress and understanding.
* Create and maintain an inclusive and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Monitor and track pupil progress to ensure all students achieve their potential.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and development.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:15 pm.
Pay Scale:
The role will be paid to scale, in alignment with the teacher pay framework.
Candidate Requirements:
* Achieved or expected Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by January.
* A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom management and lesson planning.
