ServiceNow Tester
Location: Leeds, UK - 2 day travel to our Leeds office is Mandatory

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Tester with a strong attention to detail. This role will be joining the already established ServiceNow Mastek UK managed service, which has recently been recognised as a ServiceNow partner.
In this role, you will be a part of the UK ServiceNow product team reporting into the Mastek ServiceNow Product Owner. You will be responsible for product testing (SIT), co-ordinating UAT & documenting test outputs, working alongside our team of ServiceNow developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support with process improvements, enhance system efficiency & deliver high-quality service management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning, designing, and executing testing scenarios
2. Document testing outputs/outcomes
3. Support with audit requirements (evidence testing of development)
They should also be able to:
1. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, key stakeholders and development teams to understand desired acceptance criteria ensuring this is clearly documented & delivered. Develop comprehensive test plans where required.
2. Write test scenarios and test scripts to cover functional, regression and performance testing
3. Prioritise with the product & development teams to provide the testing efforts, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of test cycles
4. Perform manual and automated testing as necessary, troubleshoot defects, and track issues to resolution
5. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within Mastek
6. Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing standards, processes, and best practices
Must Have Skills
1. Able to commute to the central Leeds office.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow tester
3. Knowledge of ServiceNow development, including code familiarity (JavaScript, Glide)
4. Good understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, CMDB, Employee Centre & Integration Hub (REST & SOAP web services & API integrations)
5. Fair understanding of ServiceNow out of the box architecture
6. Good understanding of the Atlassian products, such as Jira & Confluence.
7. Good analytical & problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
8. Effective communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, potentially across multiple customer environments.
9. ITIL v4 qualified.
Preferred Skills
1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
2. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies & tools.
3. Good understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITOM & SPM.
4. Good understanding of authentication methods used within ServiceNow.
