Discover more about GroupM at www.groupm.com. About the team and/or client This role sits within the GroupM UK FP&A team reporting into the FP&A Manager across Nexus (Finecast/Xaxis). The role will work closely with the rest of the FP&A team as well as the Nexus business. The Role Objective Working as a key member of the Group M Finance team, the Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in producing insightful and relevant reporting for Senior Management to support key decision making. You will be assisting with Forecasting and Budgeting processes, providing support to stakeholders in the business and contributing to the overall enhancement of the FP&A function. The role will also support on key financial objectives that promote driving efficiencies within the team but also within the business. To be successful in this role, engagement with various parts of the business is required, often at different levels of seniority. Responsibilities Streamlining forecast and budget processes with collaboration of the Finance team Assisting in the creation of an operating rhythm for reporting and filing. Collecting and analysing relevant data from within the company, using existing systems. Assisting with forecasting deliverables and ensuring timely submission. Action any queries during Forecasting/Budgeting processes. Assist with the Cartesis input on a monthly basis. Liaise with EMEA/Global teams to resolve reporting queries. Assist with commentaries submission to Group FP&A on a monthly basis. Continuously reviewing current processes and making improvements to allow better control or improved efficiencies Supporting with a number of ad-hoc projects Skills and Behaviours Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Organised with strong attention to detail Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude Excellent analytical skills High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications.
