Job Purpose:
To ensure all environmental conditions within the building are maintained at all times. To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works to all electrical & mechanical systems within the site. Engineers must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems. To ensure that the building is kept up to date with all required statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
The engineer is required to carry out multi skilled works for maintaining the client building including work on electrical, mechanical and HVAC equipment. To work on own and as part of a team carrying out routine PPM, reactive and repair works ensuring all deliverable SLA/KPI targets are met or exceeded
Responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance to include lighting, basic plumbing and fabric works
Identify extra work requirements and provide details of required material and labour estimate to enable client quotes to be issued
Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in a serviceable order at all times.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that the site job reporting system is updated.
Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of CBRE Managed services are locked at all times and are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance & reactive works.
To carry out works to ensure compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA
Ensure computer based maintenance reporting system is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive work orders are closed out with accurate data captured
BMS operation for daily checks and HVAC equipment adjustments
To participate in the operation of the permit to work system in accordance with CBRE Quality, Health & Safety procedures and client requirements
Any other task as directed by the Supervisor and FM management team
Participate in the on-call rota
Work a late shift 1 in 4 (10am to 7pm)
Person Specification:
Electrical Qualification to include 18th Edition BS7671
Good all round knowledge of electrical and general building maintenance, diagnostic and repair procedures, working knowledge of building services systems and maintenance schedules.

Hours of work 7am to 4pm
