If so, please read on The successful Project Manager will have the following responsibilities: Lead the development of innovative new concepts, overseeing internal product developments and customer-driven applications, from the technology roadmap to system/product launch. Act as the primary technical point of contact for external customers, partners, suppliers, and Lead Engineers throughout the program. Oversee the gathering and management of customer requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure the certification support plan is effectively implemented, ensuring compliance with the company’s certification strategy. Manage the system and product design processes, ensuring they align with the appropriate Development Assurance Level (DAL) for the program. Oversee the management of design deviations and concessions within the program Identify and manage technical risks, escalating significant risks to program management and senior leadership. Assist in resource estimation, budgeting, planning, and reporting of project metrics. The Project Manager will ideally have the following skills or experience: Degree or equivalent in electrical, systems engineering, or a relevant technical field. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Lead in a design and development environment, specifically in aerospace. Proven experience across the full engineering lifecycle, taking an aerospace programme through the verification cycle, including engineering gate reviews and design compliance assessments. Strong knowledge of industry tools and methods for developing motor drive systems. Proficient in all relevant skills for motor drive system development, including systems, magnetics, HV/LV electronics, hardware, mechanical, and CAE. Confident in customer interactions, able to detail requirements and resolve issues efficiently. Familiar with FMEAs, quality processes, and robust engineering practices. Strong experience in designing, developing, and applying motor drive systems, with a system-led approach. Knowledge of aerospace practices, guidelines, and safety analysis techniques (AR4754A, ARP4761, DO254, DO178C, DO160G). Experience with Certification Specifications and/or Special Conditions.
