You are expected to participate in the QC Inspection Team activities contributing to the overall CRP Quality and risk management strategy.
You are expected to exemplify the behaviours that are outlined in the CRP Subsea Manufacturing Competency & Skills Functional Excellence Matrix and do your utmost to improve and enhance the reputation of CRP Subsea in all your business dealings.
You are responsible for:
* Providing a comprehensive QC Goods Inward inspection service to ensure that all standards related to quality are achieved and meet the requirements of the Purchase Order.
* Monitoring of critical test equipment to ensure we have a critical test equipment response plan.
* Support the QC and Test Manager in any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.
* With the assistance of the Supervisor and QC and Test Manager, prioritise incoming components for inspection based on the business needs.
* Carrying out inspection of the incoming products, either at CRP’s premises or the supplier’s.
* Ensuring that the status and control on non-conforming products is in accordance with relevant procedures and drawings and the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
* Maintaining clear and accurate records of inspection findings at all times and reporting all and every deviation to the relevant person.
* Raising Supplier NCRs where appropriate.
* Ensuring strict compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures with reference to health, safety and quality.
* Ensuring that the housekeeping in the areas under the control of the QC GI department are maintained to the highest standard; driving 6S culture and taking ownership.
* Ensuring all measuring equipment is calibrated before use.
* Supporting continuous improvement in the department and integrating best practice.
* Completing cross functional training as requested in other QC areas to allow greater departmental flexibility and coverage for annual leave.
* Operating handling equipment such as forklift trucks and overhead cranes to manipulate items under inspection.
* Creating Critical Equipment Response Plan to ensure coordinated response to critical equipment failure.
* Carrying out any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.

Education and Experience:
* HS Qualification, or equivalent, level in a manufacturing, engineering or sciences discipline.
* Working within a Quality Control department.
* Proven track record within a fast pace, demanding manufacturing environment.
* Involvement in change initiatives and projects with a view to continual improvement.
* Building strong relationships and working as part of a team.
* Work may occasionally involve lifting of materials and product up to 25kg.
Working environment:
* Frequently required to use Personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, steel toe shoes) in designated areas.
* Factory-based.
* Frequent travel to multiple local sites and may be involved in global travel on occasion.
* Out-of-hours working on occasion as some facilities operate 24/7.
