We are looking for a dynamic accounting professional to join our team in New York. Duties will include:
1. Bookkeeping and maintaining the general ledger for a portfolio of clients
2. Managing clients’ accounts payable and accounts receivable, and monitoring the cash needs
3. Setting up payroll accounts, organizing, preparing and managing payroll with third party firms (Trinet, Paychex…)
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, including reconciliations, journal entries and accruals
5. Interacting with Federal, State, and City Agencies and Administrations for tax and registration purposes
6. Supporting clients and team in other administrative tasks
7. Working with other team members, also based in San Francisco and NYC on specific projects, including financial reporting, on-boarding and setup of new clients, etc.
8. Coordinating cross-functional project teams involving external business partners: lawyers, CPAs, banks, payroll processors, and other business services providers.
9. Dashboard implementation and internal audit
