Job Title: Consultant Addictions Psychiatry Grade : Consultant Location : Norwich, Norfolk Working Hours: 40 Hours per week Rate : Competitive, to be discussed upon application We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Addiction Psychiatry to join our private client based in Norwich, Norfolk. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. What will your responsibilities be? You will conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with substance use disorders, including alcohol, drugs, and other addictive behaviors. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs and circumstances of each patient, incorporating evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities. Provide medication management and pharmacological interventions as appropriate, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. You will Offer psychoeducation and support to patients and their families, helping them understand addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention strategies.
