Knowledge of electrical installations is advantageous but not essential. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors in Ireland or UK. Electrical Estimator Skills: Ensure a consistent workflow to support operations in Ireland and the UK. Complete tenders in alignment with company procedures and standards. Analyse completed projects to evaluate and reconcile budgeted and actual installation times. Collaborate with the estimating team to achieve revenue targets by preparing accurate and timely estimates. Conduct detailed take-offs and input measurements into estimating software to determine project costs. Vet incoming enquiries and dispatch supplier/subcontractor requests within required timelines. Evaluate subcontractor quotations for compliance with specifications and accuracy. Identify and present Product Substitution and Value Engineering opportunities.
