We're seeking a driven, customer-focused individual to take on the role of Payroll Officer within our Finance department. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of monthly and weekly payrolls for the Trust, ensuring compliance with the Trust's standing financial documents.
The key components of this role are to deliver efficient and effective payroll processing support to enable the delivery of the weekly and monthly payrolls as well as supporting excellent customer service to colleagues of the Trust. First-class customer service is key to this role, as is an eye for detail with regards data entry into the ESR system for changes to contracts (e.g., maternity, change of hours, positions, etc.).

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Knowledge of all Payroll statutory requirements
* Qualified or studying towards European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
* Experience of using a computerised Payroll system
Qualifications
* GCSE in Maths and English
* Qualified or studying towards payroll qualification NVQ level 3 / Relevant experience
Training
* Attends all training in respect of IT and statutory updates and changes
Experience
* Previous experience of working in a Payroll office
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Experience of working for the NHS and working on the Healthpay system
Contractual Requirements
* Full time
* Ability to change working patterns to reflect the workload in the department
