Events Manager Staffline Ireland are recruiting for an Events Manager behalf of our client within the hospitality sector. The Events Manager role involves coordinating corporate and social events, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless event operations that reflect the hotel's brand and service standards. Responsibilities: Plan, organise, and execute a variety of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, private parties, and hotel-hosted functions. Work closely with clients to understand their event vision, budget, and special requests. Develop detailed event proposals, including layouts, timelines, and service offerings. Collaborate with the food & beverage, front desk, and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth event execution. Arrange for external vendors such as florists, photographers, and entertainers when necessary. Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details align with client expectations. Coordinate staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for events. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations related to events. Manage event-related inventory, including décor, furniture, and audio-visual equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues during events Actively promote the hotel's event spaces to attract new clients. Maintain strong client relationships and encourage repeat business. Gather post-event feedback to improve service offerings. Track event costs, process invoices, and ensure timely payments. Develop and manage event budgets to optimise profitability Any other duties role may involve. Person Specification: A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (but not essential). Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or a similar role (preferably in a boutique hotel or luxury setting). Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a professional and welcoming demeanour. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of food & beverage service, AV equipment, and event styling is a plus. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
