About the role:
We are looking for a Business Banking Operations Team Member to join our growing team. Our Business Banking Operations Team Members will provide operational support to our business customers.This will largely be through delivery of procedures supporting business banking customers and their requirements but there will also be the need to deal with routine queries relating to day to day business needs by phone, chat or email so strong communication skills are needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Working with our SME customers to help resolve business-related questions and more complex servicing queries relating to business bank accounts and business transactions.
* Delivery of business banking related procedures
* Providing day to day support to business customers throughout the banking lifecycle.
* Knowing our Starling product suite so you can guide SME customer conversations, providing information on the features and benefits of products available to our business customers to help them get the most from their account and introducing them to the relationship team where necessary.
* Collating feedback from our business customers on new product features and improvements that would better meet their needs.
* Working with other teams in Starling to resolve any problems or questions relating to business banking.
* Proactively identifying opportunities for product and process improvement for business banking.
* Assisting in the development of new products and propositions for Starling SME customers.
Requirements
* Experience supporting business banking customers - either in a contact centre, bank branch or relationship management role is preferred.
* Great relationship management skills.
* Strong customer centricity.
* Problem solving.
* Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and quickly adapt to change.
* Good understanding of business banking customer needs
* Ability to work weekends and evenings.
