Main duties of the job
The People Programmes Manager will work in the central function of the People Directorate, and you will report to the Associate Director of People Programmes, with professional accountability to the Group Chief People Officer.
You will be responsible for :
*Driving projects forward to reach their agreed outputs by providing support to operational teams where appropriate in order to deliver transformational change.
*Using your own initiative to spot opportunities and creatively execute a plan to see it through to completion on time and with impact.
*Ensuring each programme of work future proofs services to deliver organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
As part of the wider People Directorate, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach on all elements of the People strategy.

1. *Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2. *Post graduate level qualification or equivalent experience
3. *Project management qualification/ experience
4. *Evidence of continuous personal development

6. *Understanding of issues relating to the implementation of innovation in the NHS including NHS strategy, structure, policies and priorities.
7. *Significant Operational management experience working within a NHS/ Healthcare environment working with clinicians and other health care professionals at all levels of the organisation
8. *Experience in research with demonstrable track record of project management;
9. *Evidence of managing service/organisational change.
10. *Evidence of innovation in project research terms.
