Do you bring skills and experience in corporate responsibility research? The EIRIS Foundation, a London-based research, advice and advocacy charity that pioneers the next steps in sustainable finance, is looking for a Research Analyst to expand our coverage of corporate lobbying on business & human rights. Reporting to the Research Lead you will assess lobbying by businesses and their industry associations so that civil society and investors can hold them to account if they seek to weaken human rights due diligence or labour standards legislation and seeks to encourage constructive lobbying. What you will be doing: The immediate focus is on maintaining and extending our assessments of the lobbying of 130 companies and industry associations on the EU CSDDD legislation against our Social LobbyMap methodology, writing briefing notes and supporting the promotion of the work to civil society, investors and other stakeholders. On-going responsibilities may include researching companies on other Business & Human rights criteria. What you will bring to the role: We are looking for someone with 2-3 years experience of researching companies. Knowledge of lobbying, human rights or labour standard from study or other experience would be an advantage. What we offer: Hybrid working based out of the London office at least three days a week 12 month fixed-term contract (which might be extended if funding permits), Full-time (37.5hrs per week) which can be worked flexibly around a general pattern to be agreed.
