As a KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 2 students with special educational needs. This includes developing individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, and monitoring progress closely. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each student.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop individualised learning plans for students.
2. Deliver engaging lessons tailored to student needs.
3. Monitor student progress closely.
4. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Relevant teaching qualification.
2. Experience working with children with special educational needs.
3. Strong understanding of the UK education system.
4. A degree in Education or a related field.
5. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
6. Experience in SEN teaching is highly desirable.
7. Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
10. Strong organisational and time management skills.
11. Additional training in SEN support.
12. Certification in specific learning disabilities.
You will be working in a home setting. The role may require travel to different locations within the East of England region. Working hours will be part-time, with flexibility required to meet student needs.
