Hills Road Sixth Form College is looking for someone to join us in the capacity of Finance Manager. This is a key role in the College leading a small team of colleagues in our Finance Department.
The post will work closely alongside the Chief Finance Officer to influence strategy and commercial outcomes. It will provide proactive and hands-on team leadership to our Finance Department, which comprises two Finance Officers and a Finance Assistant; and produce expert analysis and interpretation, presenting options to resolve problems, create opportunities and support informed financial decision-making by maximising the use of our accounting, reporting, and budgeting tools.
With an emphasis on high quality and value-adding service delivery, this role will develop standard and consistent processes and strengthen the integration between budget holders and the Finance team. It will also act as lead Finance Business Partner to the college Strategic Team and develop business partnership within the finance function.
