As our new Account Director, you will engage proactively with clients on a consultative basis to learn their business, anticipate their needs, and then create and develop strategic TDX solutions. You will understand the challenges faced by clients and adapt the use of TDX solutions to demonstrate a clear return on investment for the customer. You will become a “trusted advisor” to the client to solve problems and deliver solutions.
You will develop a good understanding of the wider business to promote and sell the Equifax institution. In addition to products and solutions, you will influence internal product development to implement strategies that help meet the changing needs of the client and market, adding value for both TDX and its customers.
What you’ll do
* Spend the majority of your time with existing clients on sales and post-sales activities, creating seamless customer centricity and interaction.
* Create and drive effective strategic relationships with all key contacts and decision-makers within each account to maximize business opportunities and ensure retention of top clients.
* Manage new sales opportunities and execute the sales process from presentation through to contract negotiations and close, including:
o Shaping value-add strategic solutions.
o Relating it to the customer’s business.
o Creating compelling proposals.
o Understanding the competitor’s strengths and weaknesses and differentiating proposals.
o Providing technical solution development.
o Building strong business cases.
* Understand client requirements and subsequently develop and implement appropriate services and account sales plans to win significant revenues and drive user adoption of Equifax solutions.
* Develop, implement, and own financial plans and forecasts by client division and product group. Ensure the accurate completion of all forecasts and account reporting.
* Maintain an active awareness of market trends (economic, regulatory, competitive, and technology) to identify business opportunities, subsequently influencing and driving appropriate solutions.
What experience you need
* Work in a senior-level business development role in financial services, utilities, telecoms, automotive, or retail.
* Product sales experience within debt services, CRA, data, or SAS.
* Proven sales track record leading complex high-value strategic customer relationships.
* Success as a large strategic account manager with proven revenue streams.
* Demonstrable resilience and over-performance in driving revenue, negotiating deals with long sales cycles, and managing complex pricing negotiations.
* Experience presenting to senior-level decision makers.
* Public and private sector sales experience.
