Foster a love of healthy eating and encourage students to experiment with different cuisines and ingredients. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of the food technology curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in food education. Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in food pedagogy, implementing innovative approaches to enhance student learning (e.g., technology integration, project-based learning, recipe development). Building Relationships: Build strong and positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence in the kitchen and encouraging them to explore their culinary creativity. Provide constructive feedback and support to enable students to reach their full potential (individualized learning plans, targeted intervention strategies). Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment within the food technology labs. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress in practical skills, food knowledge, and theoretical understanding (practical assessments, written assignments, presentations). Provide students with clear, constructive feedback that helps them improve their culinary skills and knowledge.
