You’ve come to the right place Benefit Cosmetics have an exciting opportunity available for a Visual Merchandising Assistant to join the team Job Responsibilities Support the VM Manager & Co-ordinator in day-to-day running of the VM department, managing operational functions within the VM team. Manage all VM store requests for the field teams. i.e. ensure all missing/damaged collateral is replaced as required to ensure compliance to VM guidelines. Support with the creation of planograms, briefing to the design team and attending ranging meetings where necessary, working closely with national accounts team. Ownership of VM guidelines for both permanent & new launch VM, creating instruction packs where necessary and distributing to the field teams. Ensure all communication that is sent is concise and on time. Support with new store openings & refurbishments working alongside Store Design team, adhering to deadlines set and ensuring VM guidelines are followed. Where required support set up of new store openings in person. Responsible for managing and updating store databases & VM fixture trackers. Support with financial and budget tracking as set by VM Manager for operational VM (new door costs, replenishment of counter collateral, lightbox roll outs etc) Monitoring stock levels of all VM items and identifying when to re-order stocks accordingly. Building strong relationships with external suppliers, assisting with supplier briefings, sampling and tender processes for campaign rollouts and projects. Oversee the development of any local units and POS, reviewing and approving technical drawings alongside the VM Coordinator. Monitor competitor activity & undertake regular store visits to ensure brand consistency. Co-ordinate production and delivery of all customer facing store POS for all trading activity in conjunction with the marketing calendar. Core VM support for the Value Retail & Travel Retail sector of the business attending relevant taskforces & briefings General administrative support for the team, raising purchase orders, managing deliveries and department organisation Skills and experience required Experience in visual merchandising in beauty industry Passionate about product, the brand and retail Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working within a small, high functioning team Creative eye & passion for communication Flexible approach to work, ability to support changing needs and demands Ability to undertake travel locally if needed and occasionally within Ireland Basic skills in Photoshop and Illustrator A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
