Description Job Description Are you looking for a role that offers the opportunity to manage projects and processes within a high profile portfolio? We are seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for day-to-day management of projects and processes related to strategic commercial assets and interventions managed by the Strategic Commercial Assets Division (SCAD). You will manage the typical aspects of a project (particularly scope, schedule and reporting) in a policy environment with input from multiple expert areas. SCAD provides a core capability around the management of strategic commercial assets and interventions. This area covers an exciting and high profile portfolio, including Ferguson Marine, GFG Lochaber and Glasgow Prestwick Airport. Responsibilities Preparing, documenting and reporting of progress of the typical project management aspects like scope, plan/schedule, budgets, opportunities; issues, and quality requirements within a complex and dynamic policy environment. Monitoring project’s delivery against expectations. Working effectively with specialists from other areas, such as legal, commercial, technical, financial experts to progress projects. Supporting delivery of business cases. Responsibilities Qualifications Project Managers should have or be willing to work towards a professional level qualification, such as APM’s PMQ, PMI’s PMP and Axelos’ Prince 2. We will support the successful candidate in securing the qualification once in post if required. Experience: Project Managers should have experience of working in a PPM role and have previously focussed on the delivery of elements of projects or workstreams, or project delivery products.
