Associate Director of Building Surveying
Location: Birmingham - Remote Working
Basic salary £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

Operating across England, Scotland, and Wales, our consultants support a diverse client base, including landlords, developers, insurers, financial institutions, and legal professionals. As part of our dynamic team of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, Building Engineers, and Environmental Health Practitioners, you'll have the freedom to shape your career while contributing to a wide range of technical and consultancy projects across the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with Director to develop and implement strategic plans and objectives to meet short- and long-term business goals, ensuring organisational growth and success.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the organisation, including managing budgets, coordinating projects and activities, and ensuring that the organisation is running efficiently and effectively.
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of surveyors to ensure smooth workflow.
* Delegate tasks based on team members' strengths and needs.
* Conduct periodic performance reviews.
* Report to Director.
* Conduct surveys to meet personal fee targets, including:
-Expert witness
-Specific defect inspections
-Structural assessments
-New build monitoring
-Dilapidation services
-Schedules of condition
-License to alter
-Party wall matters

The successful candidate will have:
MRICS/FRICS qualification
Extensive technical building surveying experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Client-focused with excellent relationship-building and business development skills
Ability to foster relationships with professionals at all levels
Team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute
Full clean UK driving license
