Band 4 (Nursery Nurse) - 22.5 hours (0.6 WTE)
MPFT is collaborating with Thrive at Five, proud to be working in Stoke-on-Trent as part of a collective mission to ensure local children meet their early developmental milestones and are school-ready. We are seeking to recruit a Band 4 Nursery Nurse within the Stoke-on-Trent locality. This role will focus on two wards within Stoke Borough, collecting data on the quality of parent-infant relationships and children's home learning environments. This is part of a wider research project, with the data collected being used to develop and improve the local early years offer. The research will focus on 9-12 month review and a 2.5 year review within the home environment. The successful candidate will work within one of the existing HV/SN 0-19 teams, where support and guidance will be provided.
Main duties of the job
* Develop and implement a comprehensive data collection system to assess the quality of children's home learning environments.
* To have a good knowledge of child development.
* To have a good knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies.
* Analyse data to identify key factors influencing children's early development outcomes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data collection methods are robust and reliable.
* Provide regular reports and insights on the data collection.
* Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Person Specification
* Must currently work in MPFT.
Qualifications
* Higher Apprenticeship level 5/Foundation Degree/Diploma (QCF/NVQ level 4) in related subject.
* NNEB or equivalent.
* Safeguarding training.
* Data security training.
* Solihull Approach training.
* Information Governance training.
Experience
* Experience of working in similar role in MPFT.
* Experience of the assessment of development of children and young people.
* Experience of working in similar role in health service.
