Your responsibilities
* Incident management and control, performing the following tasks:
o Resolving operational problems and assigned user faults when on the Day Shift Rota
o Managing the diagnosis and resolution of problems through to completion, coordinating with other service providers, where necessary.
o Development work for faults detected
* Change management and control, performing the following tasks:
o Reviewing impact to Energy Wholesale of changes to be implemented
o Carrying out the required communications to EW stakeholders
o Approving changes
* Monitoring and taking appropriate actions for messages in the Group Mailbox
* Performing the Daily Checks
* Operational acceptance for systems delivered by the workstreams
* Determine the scope for the Configuration Management Database for Operations
* Responsible for processes for maintenance of the Configuration Maintenance Database
Your profile
* An enthusiastic and genuine passion for IT
* An undergraduate placement as part of their degree
* Good communicator and motivator.
* Good planning and organizing skills.
* Experience in a support role
* An understanding of the ITIL processes.
* Understanding or exposure to Cloud Computing
* Ability to build effective working relationships.
